Abstract

Limited skills in creating visual content remain a barrier to the use of digital media for business promotion in village communities. This community service activity aimed to improve the basic understanding and skills of MSME actors, PKK members, teachers, and Karang Taruna members in Kramat Village in using Canva to create promotional content. The training was conducted on August 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Kramat Village Hall and was attended by ten participants. The methods included material delivery, feature demonstrations, guided practice, discussion, and descriptive evaluation through observation of participant engagement. The results showed that all planned stages were completed; participants followed the explanation, observed the editing-menu demonstration, engaged in practice, and participated in the question-and-answer session. The activity provided a practical foundation for developing more structured promotional materials. However, competence improvement could not be quantified because pre-test and post-test instruments were unavailable. Continued assistance, design assessment rubrics, and consistent content publication are required to ensure that these skills sustainably support MSME marketing.
