This community service activity introduced smartphone-based product photography as an age-friendly first step toward supporting garden produce sales among older adults. The activity was conducted on 12 July 2026 at the Elderly Service Post in Karangklesem and involved 13 older adults who owned smartphones but had no previous experience in digital selling. The article used a qualitative descriptive single-case design. Evidence from the attendance sheet, direct observation, training materials, and photographic documentation was analysed through data condensation, display, and verification. Participatory training combined brief explanations, demonstrations, guided practice, discussion, and individual assistance. The material covered product preparation, lighting, background, composition, camera angle, image sharpness, and common photographic errors. Available records confirmed participant attendance, delivery of the intended material, and opportunities for supported practice. However, photography competence and sales outcomes were not assessed because no pre-test and post-test, standardised photo rubric, complete digital sales posts, or transaction records were available. The activity was therefore a feasible introductory form of digital engagement, while follow-up mentoring and simple outcome measures are needed to evaluate independent digital promotion and early sales results.
